“Now that we have our initial sketches, we're going to start doing what I call the refining stage. The reason why we need to refine our sketch is our initial sketch might not be accurate, and our lines might not meet where they're supposed to. The grid will help a lot to make this happen, but also a good understanding of the geometry will help you make your refining stage shorter. You might need to refine your sketch two times or even more before you start your final inking stage because your lines might not be accurate from the first try.
