“ Creating Narrative Scenes In the last lesson, we created our setting and background. In this lesson, we'll create our narrative pieces. As I said in a previous lesson, your narrative pieces are very important for your portfolio. Agents, art directors, and editors will be looking in your portfolio to see if you can tell a story and carry a character and setting through multiple illustrations. I'm excited to get started on this. Now, we'll start making thumbnails for our narrative story.
