Use a sketchbook or mood boards to record your own ideas and choose a colour scheme. Once you have prepared the piece following the procedure you have learnt in Unit 3, it´s time to apply some of the painting techniques I showed you. In this course you learned how to paint with chalk paint, how to create an ombre effect using several colours and how to apply botanical decorations to your piece. I find these methods really helpful and just remember that mistakes are a normal part of the process. If things go wrong, we learn how to make them right and our projects will only benefit in the long run! If you're planning to promote and sell your pieces, don't forget to create a vignette to enhance its beauty and take a photo of the composition to post it on social media.
