“Scanning Artworks and Photomerge Tool In this lesson, you're going to learn how to scan large paintings that are bigger than your scanner, and also how to use the Photomerge tool in Photoshop to automatically align the sections of your scans. Now you've painted all your motifs, you need to scan each page. If your paintings are A4, this is really straightforward. You can scan them at 300 DPI. If your paintings are A3 or bigger, I'm going to show you how to scan them in sections and use the Photomerge tool to automatically knit those sections together in Photoshop.
