“In this lesson, I'm going to show you a few basic gouache painting techniques. You can then practice them and choose your favorites for the next lesson. The first thing is to select your colors. You can do this using your concept board. I'd recommend choosing three or four main colors and then you'll need a white, a black. and a couple of earth tones. So here I've chosen three or four colours from the concept board and I've also got white, Black. And a couple of earth tones, burnt umber and yellow ochre, to tint the colours if necessary. Make sure you test out your colours on a bit of paper...”
