“In this lesson, you'll learn about some of the materials you'll be using on the course. I'm going to share some of my favourite tips that I think you'll find really useful. For painting you'll be using gouache because it has an amazing velvety matte texture which is perfect for scanning. sometimes paints like acrylics with a shiny finish. will reflect the light in the scanner so they don't translate as well digitally. gouache can be used in a really similar way to watercolour. It has the same flexibility and can be used with washes and layers. But the best thing is it's really opaque so you...”
