“Molding and Stiffening Sinamay on a Hat Block In this lesson, we will look at how to mold sinamay and stiffen it on a hat block. We will us the following materials: firstly, sinamay fabric; a hat block, which is a cork disc with a circumference of 50 cm; clear, plastic film which we will use to cover the cork block so that the adhesive doesn’t stick to the cork, a pair of scissors, pins to fasten the fabric, and a spray bottle with water.
