Music Video Production for Beginners: From Script to Screen
“Awesome! We made it to the end of the course. I hope you have learnt some things that you can take with you on your next projects. Now I’d love to see you create a short film or music video from the skills you have gained from this course, to consider everything I've said and use it for your own productions. You can do it on anything, be creative, come up with unique ideas, figure out what ideas you can work with that are simple yet amazing. Use any gear you have to do this, there's no right or wrong camera, you can literally use anything. Think outside the box, try not to copy from someone else, try to come up with something totally different, those are always the best videos. I’d love to see your treatments as well, so please do post those in the forum. Again like I said, there's no right or wrong way to do a treatment, and it's best to try to be original and do it your own way. I now encourage you to go forth and use all of the principles and techniques that I have taught you, and create some amazing work! I look forward to seeing some of the projects that you make. Share your work and explain briefly the highlights of the process in the forum. And feel free to provide feedback to your classmates. I'll try to answer the questions you post in the forum, but please be patient if I take some time to respond, since I might be working on my own projects. Remember, watch a lot of films and videos to gain inspiration and create, create, create! The more you shoot the better you’ll get, the more ideas you write down the better the ideas will turn out! Thank you for taking this course with me. See you soon :)”
