I will use the Canson fine-grain watercolor paper for the exercises, but for my final negative watercolor illustration, I will use a higher grammage and a rougher paper that allows for more layers. I also have some paper for sketching, which is Mixed Media, but I recommend that you never use this for watercolor but only for sketching or more opaque techniques.
