“Hooks Basic Components In this lesson I'm going to show you another basic component which frequently appears in Chinese characters, it's hooks. Hooks can appear in different ways. Actually, it's an additional component for the previous strokes that you have learned, like this one. It's the vertical one but you add a hook at the end. This one as well.
