“Picking a Motive and Making a Plan In this lesson, I'll show you how I pick a motive and make a plan. I like to take my own photographs. I like to spend time out in nature and pick motives while I have the camera in my hands. I take a lot of pictures and when I get back to my studio, I like to look at the pictures and take my time. Different things can be appealing to me when I'm picking my motive, it can be the composition or it could be the lighting. I also get inspired by photos on social media platforms. Christian Koivumaa is an artist who specializes in watercolor landscapes.
