When it comes to watercolor paper, there're many options out there. The paper you use for watercolor is heavier than regular drawing paper, because you use water to apply the paint and this will make the paper warp or buckle, if you're using regular paper. Christian Koivumaa is an artist who specializes in watercolor landscapes. He grew up in Sweden, surrounded by his father’s oil-painted landscape paintings.
