Unlocking Your Creative Mind: Develop a Collective Project
“This is the end of my Domestika course. I hope it will help you unlock your creativity. Let's go over the main steps you took to come up with your topic. The first thing you need to learn is to unveil your true self. The greatest creative ideas always come from authenticity. We did an exercise to help you identify things you love, hate and care about as a foundation for inspiration. Then we unpacked your story and connected it to your past, present and future. Hopefully, at this stage the topic you want to work on started taking shape! What is a story if it is not shared with others? Now that you have a defined topic, it's time to make it known to the world. This time, though, do it by presenting a new version of yourself. With this new persona, go to your favorite social media and share your story. Get people engaged and start a conversation! Remember that vulnerability is a helpful tool here. Now it's time to work on a creative brief based on everything you've done. Use the template provided to help you organize your ideas. Social media can help you to unconfine your topic and then make it accessible to people, both digitally and physically. Lastly, unlock the potential of your idea within the community. For your final project, you’ll use your creative brief as a foundation to build an authentic, engaging, and cohesive project - which can be experienced and participated in both the physical and digital realms. Additionally, you'll maximize your creative impact by unlocking the community potential of your idea. As you go through the process, keep your skills and strengths in mind, but don’t ignore the opportunity to learn new ones that will bolster your creative toolbox. I'm looking forward to seeing what ideas and projects you come up with. Please share them in the forum by clicking on the "Create your project" button above. Let's create some conversation and provide feedback to each other to nurture our creativity. I'll try to reply to your posts in the forum but please be patient, since I may be working on my own projects. Keep creating! ”
