“Drawing From Multiple Reference Sources In this lesson, I'm gonna talk more specifically about the figuration and how you can use figures in the drawing to create stories and narratives. Sometimes when I've looked at reference for places, the photograph or the photographer has chosen already these narrative devices. I actually prefer not to go along with that way of working because the photographer is the author of that story, so I prefer to choose a location and then bring in my own actors to the location myself.
