About the video: Characters
Overview
“The characters are essential for a story to exist, they are in charge of carrying out the actions, moving through the scenarios and above all, generating identification with the reader. In the short story, you should make the characters act, think and speak, so that they themselves show their personality and encourage the reader to continue discovering the course of events. It is not enough to choose a name, you have to get into the skin of that character. How can you act when you make a decision? How can you resolve a situation? How do you express yourself when you speak? ”
In this video lesson Fanuel Hanán Díaz addresses the topic: Characters, which is part of the Domestika online course: Writing Children's Stories for Beginners. Captivate young readers by creating universes, characters, and plots they can connect with.
