“Now, The base color is Almost Dry. and I see here lots of brush strokes and some parts are really lighter. Almost watered down. I think the illustration looks more natural this way. This was my tip. But in my case, since I'm going to fill it with patterns, It will look more full and you will see the colors popping up much more if our Base color is even darker. So I'm going to paint a little bit more here with blue color. just to make the base color a bit more smooth and darker. Still randomly, i'm covering the lighter parts.
