We're going to be coloring our scenario for "Dirty Rotten Space Monsters." This is the poster that we've drawn and we're now going to add color. I will be using Procreate. I can grab a layer, up here. I have all my ink layers, here. I'm getting rid of some of these blue layers, to give myself room for more layers, as I color. Butch Hartman is an award-winning cartoon artist from the United States. He has been a fan of cartoons, movies, and comic books since he was a child and grew up creating stories and shooting his own movies. He later went on to study at the art school founded by Walt Disney, California Institute of Arts. After graduating, he began his career in the television animation industry, working on the 1986 version of My Little Pony.
Since then, Butch has gone on to work for studios like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network on iconic cartoons including, Tom and Jerry Kids, Droopy Master Detective, Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, and more. His work has received multiple Emmy Awards and he himself has been nominated for several. Butch also created his own children’s app, The Noog Network, and has written and produced live action films, including one for his famous animated show, The Fairly OddParents. He has also grown an impressive social media following with over 800,000 subscribers on YouTube and 1.7 million followers on TikTok, and he hosts his own podcast, Speech Bubble.
