“Color Tests In this lesson, I’ll explain how to do color tests for your cover. Since I like to work with different materials and I liked to mix techniques, for the color tests I’ve brought watercolor paints, colored pencils, acrylic gouache, and these are water-soluble crayons. I have my paintbrushes here. I’ll start with watercolor. Watercolor is generally worked from lighter to darker because you’re using transparency. So, I’ll start painting my background first for my first test with this brush, which has a water tank and, as I press on it, it releases moisture. I’ll use a lot of water t...”
