If you only draw from observation, it can feel a bit intimidating to bridge that gap between drawing what you see and coming up with something new, but in this lesson I'll show you different techniques to merge those two worlds together. For example, on this page I have some creatures based off marine life and fish. These two subjects are two things that I absolutely love to draw, so my visual library is already full of these creatures that exist...”
