“Choosing the Materials In this lesson, we'll see the types of wood we'll use and each one's importance, since it's not the same to see it on computer or sketch as it is in real life. I really like light and dark woods. On this occasion, we have Tzalam wood, ash, holm oak, and stained black holm oak. Tzalam wood is dark and endemic to Mexico. Ash is a softer wood with a lighter color. Holm oak wood is pretty resistant, and it's even as dense as metal.
