Requirements and materials
To take this course you need basic notions of industrial design.
You also need some paper, felt-tips, and materials for building a scale model of your final project. For modeling and rendering, your teacher uses Rhinoceros 3D and Keyshot, but if you'd prefer to use different software that's absolutely fine!

José Bermúdez works as an industrial designer in Mexico City and Colombia and has been designing products, furniture, and interior design projects for more than five years. After living in Sweden and working for studios such as Esrawe, he finally opened his own. In collaboration with other international designers, he creates one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces combining the functionality and simplicity of Japanese design with a Nordic aesthetic.
His work has been published on blogs and in magazines across the world and exhibited in some of the most renowned design fairs including Milan Design Week, Wanted Design in New York, Design Week Mexico, MADE Art Fair in Brazil, and the Furniture Exhibition in Nybro, Sweden. According to José, design is a tool for self-expression and storytelling and his pieces evoke deep feelings in his customers.
