You can use very vibrant colors or keep it really subtle or even go black and white. Now I'll teach you all the techniques that I use and some handy tips and tricks, as well. What I do when deciding what colors to use is find the theme and then mix my colors accordingly. For example, basketball jerseys are often colorful and use bright primary colors.
