“Drawing Techniques 02 Construction and Basic Shapes In this lesson we'll construct our character using very basic shapes. We'll first draw a very simple stick figure on top of my illustration, this will show all the joints and different body parts, and then we'll add volume by using simple cylinders. Let's get to it. Here's our first character again. Everyone draws a stick figure differently, so you don't have to do it my way. Usually, I start with the head, and it's actually just a very basic shape, a circle. There you go. Then I move on to the shoulders. And from there on I draw the torso...”
