About the video: What Will We Do in This Course?

Overview

“With over 1 billion active users Instagram is one of the best places to be right now. As a brand or artist, it is important to make the most out of the platform. One way I started doing this was by creating stickers for Instagram Stories. In this course, I will show you the process of creating your very own stickers. We will start by breaking down what makes a good sticker. Then, showing the techniques used for animating your illustrations, and afterwards, I will be showing you how to conduct your research and start generating ideas for your sticker pack. After creating a mood board, I will show you how to get your ideas onto paper using small thumbnail sketches, which will then be vectorised on Illustrator and later animated on After Effects. Once you have created your final animations I will show you how to export your animations as GIFs, so they are ready to be used on platforms like Instagram and Snapchat. ”

In this video lesson Alex Foxley addresses the topic: What Will We Do in This Course?, which is part of the Domestika online course: Motion Graphics for Social Media: Create A Sticker Pack.
