The future log is one of the key components of the bullet journal system and it allows us to plan into the future, basically. Exactly what it says. You will create an area for each month in your journal, and we'll be able to note future events in those areas. So I'm using my Dingbats notebook. And what I would like to do is just miss the first couple of pages and come back to those at a later date. For the layout I'm going to do, I'm gonna create four vertical columns. She studied graphic design at university in her home country of Scotland, but Annie never went on to work in graphic design roles and instead chose to pursue her love of painting and traditional illustration. In 2017 she discovered bullet journaling by chance on Instagram, and fell in love with the activity. So much so that in 2018 Annie started her first ‘proper’ bullet journal and created her Instagram account @ajournalbyannie to share her journaling online.
It wasn’t long before brands and potential clients began noticing her work and she was able to turn A Journal by Annie into a business. She has collaborated with various brands and publications including Rescue Remedy, My Life Handmade, Gaston Luga, and Simply Lettering Magazine. As well as this Annie also sells her artwork and products online.
