I went back to this course when Sarah mentioned it during one of her later courses, for a more detailed explanation of tonal values. In her clear easy to listen to style Sarah introduces the versatility of charcoal with its freedom and flexibility but still achieving beautifully detailed results. Sarah covers the way we view art and how tone and composition influence our emotional response to art. This is sound background learning for art in any medium and I will review this course many times

This is the third course taught by Sarah that I have taken. The instructions are very clear and detailed. It is my first experience with charcoal and with Sarah's well taught tutorial I was able to produce a drawing I was happy with. I would highly recommend!
