“Fur sketch In this lesson I will show you how I sketch the fur. The first thing I do is to have one of the clean line sketches and then I go through it again and that's where I do all that is fur. I will use a red pencil so that it stands out well from the spot pattern. In many photos the orientation of the coat will not be seen, but it's one of the most important things because it is what will help us to give volume and realism to the work when we are working on the "scratchboard".
