About the final project for: Mobile Photo Editing for Social Media

Mobile Photo Editing for Social Media

“You have reached the end of the course, I hope you had fun editing and learned a lot along the way. Next, I am going to review the process that I have followed to develop my final project: In Unit 3 we saw how to edit different types of photographs, in each of them we use different tools to achieve the best possible result. I'm going to show you now the process that I followed in that unit, but now that you know the two tools, it is time for you to prove to yourself that you know how to use them by editing with the two applications. Architecture The first thing I have done is correct the perspective thanks to the cropping and perspective tools. Then you can use the expand tool if necessary and if it generates a problem, the stain remover is the best solution. Finally, I have used the brush to highlight some areas and have taken advantage of the editing history to work with layers within Snapseed.

Still life This is the perfect example to use curves to modify the light and colors of the photo. I've experimented with HDR and drama settings in just the right amount to bring an eye-catching touch to the photo. To finish, I have used the "Brush" tool to modify areas of the image and I have modified the exposure and the white balance, as well as using stain remover to eliminate imperfections.
Travel photo This photo I have edited with VSCO. I have applied the filters and I have tried settings like "Exposure" and "Temperature", and the point that can give more personality to the photos: "Split tones".
Portrait I have edited a portrait by playing with adjustments that can be applied such as hue or fade , but I have focused on the skin tone tool and finally on the HSL to play with the colors of the image.
Instagram After editing the images, before publishing them I ordered them using Preview to see how they would look together, and if they created a harmonious feed . When you do it, it doesn't matter if they don't look good with your previous images, if you want to change the style of your Instagram, now is the time. Finally, I have searched the hashtags for the photos. As we saw in Unit 5, remember that you must put them in the description of the photo (the text you write when publishing) and that they should not be more than six.
Now it's your turn, share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Share the final result of each photo you have edited and how they have been in your feed . It would also be great if you show the steps or how each of the photos has evolved during the editing process. As you have seen, there are many ways to edit a photo, a sea of apps that you can now start browsing with the knowledge you have acquired in this course. Be sure to share the images you have edited on the forum, post your doubts and answer the questions of other students. I will also be there, as far as possible, for whatever you need. I am looking forward to seeing your final project, see you soon! ”

“Final project Now we will review everything learned during the course. First I showed you my references. It is very important to find yours to know what you like and what you don't and how you want to edit your photos for the future. Then I told you the most common mistakes made when taking pictures and which ones cannot be repaired in edit. It is important to take them into account because later you will not be able to edit them. Also, I gave you a couple of tips so you don't make these mistakes. Then you saw how to download the applications and you got to know its interface a bit from the...”
