Artistic Watercolor Techniques for Illustrating Birds

Sarah is an excellent teacher she comes across as very practical and she clearly explains every step. I can always go back to watch previous videos to help me understand. I am quite pleased with my first effort and will continue with watercolours.

An excellent course on painting birds in watercolour. I love the way Sarah explains the topics of tonal values, paint thickness and colour mixing in a clear, logical, and enthusiatic manner. I have watched the videos and painted single birds for practice... using her concepts. I still have to do my final project. I am collecting images from the internet for that. This course would suit beginners and also more experienced watercolour artists.

Complete beginner. Sarah teaches clearly and offers lots of tips and ideas. The exercises are very useful and give a real understanding of ideas and techniques, including using other media for finishing touches.
