I am really enjoying this course. Mr Baseman is really empowering.I like his style in creativity aswell as in teaching. He is really open and this made me open up in creative sense aswell.

This is an excellent course from a great artist. It's not a techniques course - instead, this class focuses on your creativity and individual style. Very inspirational to any type of artist who wants to find ways to bring a distinctive, personal voice to their work. Highly recommended!

Of all my courses so far, I love Gary Baseman, Toby, Blackie and all the other characters. I love the way he presents his ideas, style, themes, and color. He is a true creative artist that just does it. He has come a long way from his childhood photos and I especially love his use of sketchbooks. I like the environment he uses and he speaks English! That is so much better than trying to follow the written words and watch the video, a hard task! I want more from Gary Baseman on Domestika!

Absolutely inspiring class. Gary Basemen addresses the basic questions that a lot of people have when they want to make art, but don't know where to or don't have the confidence to start.

I would recommend this course to anyone - not limiting it to artists, animators or illustrators.
Anyone interested in art or storytelling would find something illuminating or inspiring.
In general, I prefer Domestika courses to educational channels like Discovery as they often implicitly teach you more about life and people of different cultures/professions! This is a perfect example - if you want a deeply personal story from a contemporary artist who teaches living life through art.

Gary Baseman è secondo me è un vero artista, ha parlato di ispirazione “vera” che non avviene solo da altri artisti che fanno il tuo stesso lavoro, ma dall'intero mondo dell’arte. Una creatività spontanea vissuta in quegli anni '60 anni scalmanati e innovativi, che appartengono anche a me. Anni colmi di stimoli schietti, per esploratori, in tutto ciò che ascoltavi, guardavi e toccavi in ogni inaspettato momento. Mi ha emozionato profondamente ed ha toccato il mio cervello addominale.
