“The Basics of Color So in this lesson, we will be talking about the basics of color and how you can combine colors in your own artwork. Colors for me always come after the composition. If you remember in the previous lesson, I made an analogy of composition being the rhythm or the melody of the song. Then you could think colors being the lyrics of a song. Even if you would have great lyrics, and a bad rhythm, then your song would be ruined. Rarely I would have a color palette ready before the composition.
