I enjoyed this course and his laid back approach. I love the idea of urban sketching but I am overwhelmed as to where to start. The course gave me a bit more confidence to give it a try. I would have liked more information on getting started (from looking at a scene to getting it down on paper, especially when there are a lot of intricate details). Perhaps I am too much of a beginner for this undertaking.

Excellent and well explained course for any level of Urban Sketcher Artist. I have progressed with it from the very beginning.

I recommend this course. Lapin is a thoughtful instructor. His explanations are clear and encouraging, insightful and kind. I enjoy watching other people draw. I'm hoping to re-watch this course.

The video went by too fast, and there were no invitations to pause and practice sketching with the information that had just been presented. I need slower paced lessons that employ pauses with instructions for a simple practice sketch that employs the concept(s) just presented. This would clarify and help to anchor the material. As presented, the instructions became an impressionistic blur.

It's really amazing and very interesting course! I love drawing in my sketchbooks and wished to draw all beautiful buildings, people and sounds around me . Knowledges and clever ideas about new perspective inspired me ! Thank you , Capitan Lapin!
