With an academic background in illustration and graphic arts, Fernando Del Hambre redirected his career after dedicating himself to editorial design for more than 15 years. After working as an art director at Prisa Magazine and McCann Spain, he has been dedicated exclusively to illustration since 2013.
In 2016, he began collaborating and developing projects as a freelance creative director for UNESCO, FAO, and GREENPEACE Spain. Since March 2020, he has been drawing in the Sunday Opinion section of El País. His client list includes Young & Rubicam, El Mundo, Icon, Gentleman, Cinemanía, Forbes, and Principia, among others.
