“Apply ink techniques to illustration In this lesson I'm going to demonstrate drawing with ink. I started with the idea of drawing some plums in a plum tree, because that's what I had available to me at the time, so that I could then incorporate a living creature as part of this project, I looked up which birds would eat plums from a plum tree, and I discovered that there were a few birds. So I started to draw a thrush to start with, just some very quick pencil sketches so that I could get a sense of this bird and what it looked like and how it moved.
