“Play with ink These thinner papers will be much more absorbent than the watercolour paper, so you'll see that the ink is less dark, and it spreads more, especially if it's wet. It's a lot less black. The paper's taking away lots of the ink, so it's less dramatic, but actually it's interesting. This one's slightly thicker. You don't see the brushstrokes as well. It becomes... one whole shape. These are so unpredictable, whatever paper you choose, you see how it works. If you have an area of your paper that you don't want ink to go on, you can use something called masking fluid. So, this can ...”
