Illustrating Nature: A Creative Exploration

Loved doing the course. I'd been a professional illustrator but found I had lost my way on life's journey... my illustrations had become tight and boring as I'd aged, I had lost the fun and wonder in creating stuff.

This course was like a breath of fresh air... my jail time was ended because Laura had given me a key to the outside. So glad I took the chance to do this, it was what everyone needs sometimes, a new perspective on seeing and making marks.

This is an excellent course that will inspire artists at all levels. The exercises offer a great way to learn some of the properties of ink and watercolour and how to combine them creatively with other media. I appreciated the combination of warmth, innovation, intelligence, and wisdom Laura brought to the course.

This is by far, the best online course I've ever enrolled in in terms of what you get for what you pay. There is so much excellent content here and Laura is an excellent teacher. What I enjoyed most are her demos of her creative process and use of unconventional tools.

I am enjoying the course very much as Laura is excellent at expressing her ideas and the techniques. I especially enjoy the emphasis on observing nature, and the importance of practicising drawing and painting and enjoying doing so. Thank you Laura.

I learned such a lot from Laura. Small handy hints as well as strategies, skills and processes for using watercolour, coloured pencils, inks and other media. She pointed out that mistakes are opportunities, you don't have to create perfect images and it is a good idea to work at some thing more than once and in different ways.

This course is excellent. The course teach me that arts is in everywhere around us. Now I know that it's easy to find inspiration for creating art projects.
Arts doesn't have to come from perfect ion and flawlessness so now I have no fear to create my own projects.
