Illustrating Nature: A Creative Exploration

I just love the way that Laura teaches. She is genle, approachable and free. I want to be able to express myself, but with no schooling in this area I didn't know where to start. Laura makes it a breeze, without the stuffiness that you might expect.. but with a very free and experimental approach leaving you to be able to start to find your style.. whatever that might be.. I've started her other course here on Domestika and that is also wonderful.

Laura breathes creativity and she is an excellent teacher. Makes you work on your painting improvement along with empowering your courage. One diggs out the capacity and trust to paint.

What a fun class! Laura invites students to play and have fun with watercolor. There are no "mistakes", just experimenting with different techniques and materials and exploring creativity. I highly recommend this class.

Absolutely love this course, so clear and easy to understand, no distracting chatter or meandering around, and no skimping over details, (this zooms in close when needed and never goes to fast to follow).
I think every other course I’ve taken elsewhere has had all the above problems

The best thing about this course is the extent to which it liberates your imagination. The usual constraints of accuracy and precision are banished for ever. No such thing as a mistakes, instead, opportunities to develop a new idea.
Course is carefully planned, well constructed and there’s continuity throughout the lessons.
The presentation is engaging and addictive.

This is my second course with Laura. I love that while there is some overlap, this time we are exploring different media and learning to be creative and work with accepting imperfection!

EL curso es super educativo sobre la tinta china y la combinacion con otros tipos de materiales. Los consejos son bastante claros y hay arto materiales y caminos para descubrir :)

Un curso muy inspirador!!

Parfait pour un débutant , de belles idées pour expérimenter, toutefois, je ne recommande pas pour quelqu’un d’experimener qui veux aller chercher du perfectionnement, ou augmenter son expertise.

Laura is an extraordinary lovely and inspiring woman, artist and teacher. I am happy to follow her lessons, love to listen to her wonderful English and her more than interesting thoughts and advices, enjoy the exercises and try to adapt something of her relaxed and not at all dogmatic movements.
