About the final project for: Introduction to Retail Design

Introduction to Retail Design

“ You have reached the end of the course. We hope you have enjoyed each step and each lesson. Throughout all the lessons we have taught what is our method to get to know our clients and their projects better. You have learned to make an effective and efficient first visit to the space. We have taught you the keys to create a unique concept and design an experience that transports users to another world. You have learned the keys to designing a quality distribution in a retail . We have sketched, grated, painted and modeled non-stop until we achieved the result we wanted to convey the concept. You have finally seen what is our method to present the project to our client and one of the most important things, you have learned the keys to creating a quality press kit. For your final project you must create your own final presentation of the project as if you were going to present it to your client. In that presentation you must include a summary of the entire creative process that has led you to create your final design. Starting with the explanation of the choice of concept, how you have represented the key elements of your concept in the interior, the choice of the final materials (you can add an mood board of final materials), the floor plan your project and its functionality (explain how it works), the drawings or renders of your project and the accessories or furniture that you have expressly designed. Finally, you must make your press kit writing the text that describes your project. Don't forget to include an attractive title and the credits of your project. For the presentation of the final project we usually use InDesign, but we also use Keynote in many cases (we really like this tool!). You can use the program you want or like more like PowerPoint, Prezi, Word, among others. The one you like best. It's about feeling comfortable preparing the presentation so that you can explain your project in the best way. An example of a presentation would be the PDF that you have in the "Additional Resources" of unit 6, Final presentation and communication . For the press kit text we usually use InDesign too, but you can use any other program. Thank you very much for joining us and starting this journey with us. Now is the time to see your final project. We very much want you to tell us every detail that you have thought and designed, and that you transport us to your concept. We love to travel! Remember, if you have any questions, we will wait for you in the forum. We are attentive and will respond as soon as possible between trips :) Thank you very much for joining us until the end. ”

“Final project Hello, we have reached the end of our course. It was a pleasure to share the learning throughout each lesson. We hope you liked it. In this lesson we will review step by step the content that we present to you so that you carry out your project with great courage and security. We show our great references and why they inspire us so much. We believe that you should also look for your references to create your own identity. We explain the basics of commercial design and how to create a shopping experience, something very important to take into account in a "retail design" projec...”
