Introduction to Voxel Art for Character Design

Heya, you mentioned in the course details that knowledge with Qubicle is useful but not mandatory, however as a beginner I expected a little more guidance about the tools and different shortcuts you are using in the video, I had to pause and hit the exact frame to find out which shortcut you are using and how it behaves.

I really enjoyed this course. It's great to have a course delivered by an artist who uses the tools for everyday work because you find out why you'd do something like this, or what you need to consider to achieve that etc. You see the end to end workflow.

Zach has a great presentation style and is super helpful with any questions or queries.

The course might look short on paper at 5 hours but don't ignore the additional resources, there's lots more depth to be found in those videos.

Excellent course that covers not only the workflow of producing and animating voxel art, but the creative process involved in concepting scenes and characters. It has something for everyone, beginner or otherwise! The feedback and guidance from Zach has been invaluable throughout the assignments.

The course is not bad but definitely not for beginners. Many skipped steps I wasted more time trying to find the shortkeys or what was done to get it done.
It has to be improved and more elaborated, namely in terms of the video commentary. When the Unity part arrives, I didn't even realize which program was open or what was being done, everything was happening without any explanation.

A brilliant and fun course that will massively help in the development of our voxel based game.

Zach is a great teacher and explains things very clearly and in a fun way.

Super fun and enjoyable course, taught by a real gem of a teacher!
This combines two things, both demonstrated in a very light-heartedly fun and unique way:

1) Creative process, getting you to explore your creativity and imagination.
2) Technical side of voxel art work and using the tools & advanced techniques for rigging and animation.

Overall this is a great little course, I can see myself doing it multiple times, each time improving and getting better with Zach's guidance and tips!
