About the final project for: 3D Typography: Playing with Color and Volume

3D Typography: Playing with Color and Volume

“ We have reached the end of the course! Hopefully, it’s been a very useful and informative experience and I’m looking forward to seeing how you incorporate everything you’ve learned into your own work. Now it's time for you to create your own piece. For the final project, don't feel constrained or pressured to only use the C4D skills we’ve learned in the course. Feel free to combine them with other techniques. Try to be creative. Share your composition step by step and use screenshots to illustrate the process. Let's review the main steps you should take for your project: First, gather inspiration and create a rough layout of the composition in Adobe Illustrator.

Using Camera 4D, create a 3D sketch of your composition. Then, add some basic lighting and start modelling each of the elements - the letters, the cushions, the ball pool, the mats, and the castle.
It's time to add the final details to the composition, adjust the lighting and refining the render settings.
I personally always feel inspired to learn even more, once I’ve acquired a new skill, so hopefully you’re now excited to keep on learning even more new skills and 3D techniques after this. That’s the beauty of online learning these days; you can come up with an idea and then just google a tutorial or course that will teach you how to do it. So get creating! I'm looking forward to seeing your creations. I'll try to answer your questions in the forum, but please be patient if I don't answer straight away, since I may be busy working on my personal projects. See you soon! ”

“Final Project Congrats, well done and thank you for completing this course with me. It's now time to discuss our final project. Hopefully you've learnt about me and my influences, how I generate initial ideas and concepts, how I sketch things out in 2D in Illustrator and how I model and build everything in Cinema 4D, render in Redshift, and then finally, compositing and editing everything in Photoshop. I hope the course was enjoyable and informative. For the final project, I'd really like for you to go out and create your own 3D, inflatable typographic piece. Don't feel constrained by only ...”
