In my daily sketchbook, I don't normally observe things directly in order to copy them, instead I use a more intuitive drawing approach. I get carried away drawing and I don't usually have a reference that guides me, and, instead, I use my memory. I can do it because over time I have developed a certain visual memory by observing a lot and practicing, and that's why I can do it.
