“ Transferring the Drawing In this lesson, I'll take my line drawings and trace them onto the surface of the watercolor paper that I'll be doing my final art on. What's nice about this is my line art drawings serve another purpose, which is being able to, first of all, trace the drawings onto the surface but also, as I'm working, it helps me protect the artwork. I can work on either half without worrying about dripping paint onto either side. I'll show you what I mean. What I have here is tracing paper.
