Great and unique course. Strongly recommend to everyone who is interested in editorial and wants to enhance text with right illustrations. I wish there was a bit more process shared regarding initial sketches but it would have been a plus. There was a lot theory and tips shared.

Good course for beginners, but you need a Vacom tablet if you want to repeat the process after Emma.

I liked Emmas informal and welcoming approach, her "quirky" style and the explanations of her processes, particularly the tip, to use of grayscale before deciding on colour. Very helpful. Plus quickly building a folder of images by dragging and dropping them into a folder from either Google or Pinterest (I used to save the images but Emma's way was much faster). What stood out most was her interaction with her students, promptly responding to your postings/concepts, in a very positive way.
