I loved this course. Really inspiring

Great course! The process of creating a character is well explained and also, quite different from the classic approach. Dont expect to learn how to draw since its not a drawing course, I think it becomes very clear just reading its title. The course is longer than most, and he even shares tools and links to explore ways to expand the character if you want to :). I really enjoyed every single bit and highly recommend it.

In short: This is NOT a course for beginners. The instructor doesn't teach how to draw, but rather just demonstrates his workflow. It can be used for inspiration.

I like Nathan's art but I'm sad to say that this course didn't meet my expectations. The author doesn't show how he creates the final sketch. You just see how Nathan creates some doodles and then he shows the final sketch. It looks like "how to draw an owl" meme => https://bit.ly/3i0rq5e

I am nearly overwhelmed: so many inspiring links and resources. So many things to try and to play with and to think out of the box. So many ideas to ponder, exercises to try and everything is so much fun. Nathan is sharing freely and he is really invested in our learning. Such a great experience. I will come back to this course and try to (Re)do some of the tasks. I learned so much about creating characters and worlds but I also learned a lot about the process of drawing and creating.

Mas alla de la tecnica, sorprende los recursos conceptuales tan personales. Una enfoque muy original de enfrentar un proyecto complejo de un mundo ilustrado. Muy recomendable.

I loved this course so much! I learned tonnes and am really inspired now to try new things in my own art. I also appreciated how Nathan invited us in to his personal process so we can see how it works for him. We all have to find our own process, but it helps to see how it works for the pros. I highly recommend this course!

Wonderful, whimsical course, with lots of ideas to think outside the box and create (more) unique characters and worlds. There's a lot of focus on landscapes, somewhat more than on characters. Being a multidisciplinary artist myself, it was very nice and interesting to see another multidisciplinary artist at work, and learn more about their work, process and influences. Nathan has added a lot of resources and tips; I especially appreciated the tips at the end with ideas for toy creation, etc.

So inspired! This course will really prompt you to look inward and explore possibilities to make new worlds, new characters. The course also concludes with some helpful tips from Nathan about different art industries you can pursue.

Very inspirational and I love the amount of information packed not only in the lessons, but also through all the links to related subjects Nathan shares. I’d like to see more on his character design choices, and I look forward to more classes by him.
