“Shadows and Details In this lesson I'm going to show you how to apply shadows and final details to our painting. This has been sitting out for a few minutes, maybe 20 minutes, so the whole page is now completely dry to the touch. The colors that I applied in the previous lesson have now kind of mellowed out, they are a little bit lighter. This red is not quite so vibrant as it was but there's a lot of interesting textures going on as these colors mingle and mix with each other, and this is really a great foundation for what we're gonna do now.
