Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

This course introduced me to loose sketching techniques. Alex has the ability to make one challenge oneself, with step by step, easy to follow instruction. His kind nature and expert knowledge shines through, and this course really empowered me to start sketching with fountain pen! I will get back to combining fountain pen and water colour again at some stage. This course was a turning point for me personally, as his artwork inspired me to prove that I can draw too! Thank you Alex!

It was lovely seeing Alex work. Would personally have preferred to see a bit more breakdown of his own personal style, maybe on more than one piece, as that is what really drew me to this course. Maybe one that has less basics (like perspective) and more advanced.

I highly recommend this course for complete beginners in watercolor. The explanations of Alex is very clear and easy to follow. However, I was expecting some more information on perspectives from this course. It just gives a brief overview of the basic knowledge in perspective.

Lezioni interessanti, molto dettagliato sulle prospettive e acquisizione di conoscenza dei materiali da disegno.
Sarebbe stato utile quache lezione in più sulle tecniche dell'acquerello.

Alex explains techniques simply but with a useful amount of detail. He is committed to helping and sharing his knowledge to the point of adding extra lessons in answer to students’ questions. The quality of Alex’s work is very impressive and he shares his experience generously. His teaching style is respectful and practical. It is pleasant and enjoyable to learn from him.
