Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Great course for those who already have some notions of architecture sketches... I felt like it was a good recap of my college lessons. Nice tips of watercoulor and art presentation.

I really appreciate the way Alex breaks down each step of hi process. I found the section on perspective very helpful. His use of quick sketches as a guide for his final pieces is a great technique in simpliyfing the overall process.

Hola! Si bien estoy recién en la Unidad 3, estoy muy conforme con el curso de Alex Hillkurtz. Es muy claro y explica hasta el mínimo detalle.

Un buen curso donde aprenderas la teoria básica de perspectiva, además de conocer la técnica necesaria para la aplicación de la acuarela. Solo me hubiese gustado aprender mas sobre la figura humana y vegetación, como árboles.

I feel at this point this was a bit more advanced than where I’m at. I really don’t think he really taught on a beginners level. He was pleasant to listen to however

yeah interesting stuff, its a pity that he does not show more examples on ink sketching

I’m enjoying this course - I love Alex’s paintings of Paris. Hopefully when I go to Paris in April I will be able to capture some of the beautiful buildings in my sketchbook using his techniques.

Alex presented the course in a simple, straight-forward manner. I love his discussion about finding your own style and sharing his sketchbooks.

Very clear and interesting content and a very good delivery. Easy on the ear, steady pace and therefore a relaxed and yet really informative course!

This is a great course for beginners like me. The step-by-step explanation of the process was excellent. Alex is very easy to follow and understand. He also encourages you to explore and find your own style.
