Great course. I highly recommend it. Alex is a fantastic teacher. He went above and beyond many of the instructors I have worked with. He took time with all aspects of drawing perspective, pencil, pen and watercolor basics, and even presenting your work and cutting mat boards.

I enjoyed every bit of this course.

I was completely entranced when the teacher began adding shadows - it was like magic - everything came to life before my eyes.

Fortunately, I could replay every segment . . . and begin to use the same skills, in my own way.
WOWZER! It works . . . my own "baby-steps magic."
Who knows how my creations will look in the future? (This is So Amazing.)

Superbe cours, J'ai vraiment adoré. J'aime beaucoup le style d'Alex Hillkurtz. A suivre.

Overall, I liked this course, particularly the processes to achieve is art. I would like to see more of the «cinématographic » and the dramatic side of is approach to make special scene effects, etc. It’s something that was presented in the introduction as a particular angle from is professional background. Although, I liked the vitality of is drawing process and it’s probably the most important.

Coming from advertising and having to churn through lots of storyboards, I could really relate to Alex's approach. His tips and tricks for dealing with perspective and composition when you are out "on the spot" sketching are very helpful. I also enjoyed a tour of his materials and the extra links and files he provides at the end of lessons.
