Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Architectural sketching is very different from the nature drawing that I've been practicing. I'm so glad that I took this course! Alex teaching was clear and I feel that his step by step process took me to a final piece that really worked. I learned ways to manipulate watercolor that I can use on any subject. I highly recommend this course.

I really enjoyed this course, it was easy to follow and Alex has a great way of presenting. You learn to be bold and brave with the different watercolour washes. The glasing technique is creating such a beautiful effect, I'll use it much more from now on. Thank you very much!

Alex's story, his love for films, and his dedication and passion for arts are what made me choose this course. I stopped drawing with pencils and pens for 10 years, and mainly do digital designs when I started working. His experience as a storyboard artist is very interesting as I also love movies. Though I am more fond of realism (and hyperrealism), the way he presents this art style is excellent that I find it fascinating. Alex basically made me go back to sketching :) Thank you Domestika!

Kiváló kurzus :)

This is a well produced course, with good demonstrations and clear delivery. However I found the contents largely started at too low a level. I already have my brushes, paints and favourite papers. I can lay down washes and sketch subjects so the early part of the course was not helpful. The later part however was helpful when Alex started choosing his viewpoints and learning how he completes a picture with all the thought processes. Need more of the latter and less of the basics. Overall good.
