Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

I really enjoyed this course as you learned what tools to use and he actually did a painting from start to finish so you can sketch along (that's how I learn best, I can't just watch and learn.). Talked about techniques and how to mix paint too.

Very good course. He is a great teacher and communicates so clearly. His breakdowns really help visualize the steps to take to do sketches and then paintings of scenes and buildings. I’m anxious to try on some of the San Antonio Missions.

One of best course i've seen, i'm a beginner and i felt really motivated by his personal experience.

His introduction of his life to this stage is so easy to understand and relate to. I also have a story its probably this that has me so intrigued. lots of fun.

Un poco escaso para gente con una buena base en acuarela y dibujo. Una extensa y útil explicación de materiales, perspectiva...etc, pero la obra elegida para realizar por el autor en el curso es de los más sencillas, y no sirve para ver en detalle la complejidad de la técnica en sí usada por el artista, que sí se vería en el proceso de creación de obras más laboriosas.

Incredibly informative and useful! I also love Alex's style, definitely one of my favourite courses I've done!

I saw the difference right away in how my buildings looked. I really like Alex's style and will be incorporating many of his suggestions going forward.

I am halfway through the course but I can certainly say it's been really helpful better understaning architectual perspective and would like to incorporate it into my paintings.

This was just what I was expecting from this course and more. Well articulated, timed and presented. The only elements I did not enjoy were particular to my impatient Type A personality-so not objective criticism to share!
